What can I say about Belgrade? I haven’t been surprised and enchanted by a city in such a way for a long time. Four days of mapless walking, walking and walking the streets of the Serbian capital, getting lost and finding myself somewhere unexpected, breathing the sometimes rough and then again quaint but always honest charme of Beograd ended up in a beautiful night at Sofar Sounds Belgrade. Of all people I met on this crazy trip I want to firstly thank Mandy and Marko, the lovely leaders of the Sofar team there, who not only organized an unforgettable night but took me out for drinks the nights prior to the concert and answered all of my annoyingly curious questions about everything – such good souls, whom I will not forget. Now that I’m back I’m already missing it, and hope to be back soon…
